The past several months I’ve been working on the new subdivision Sendero Canyon Homes Penticton and we are finally at the show home stage. I’ve enjoyed the entire process and have had the pleasure of working with some wonderful people. I have to give thanks to my two assistants on this project Paige Hollerin and Liane Jurcic for all their hard work.
There are 3 schemes to choose from and several floor plans available; lot 67 is the show home which is scheme 1 and is fully staged. Scheme 1 seems to be the most popular at the moment which has warm grey undertones throughout the home; seems grey is still very desirable with home owners. I also like scheme 2, it’s warm and inviting yet very current . Scheme 3 is a classic combination which I think many home owners will be comfortable with.
There was much thought put into all the schemes; there is something for everyone much like the several floor plan options available.
When I started thinking of the staging concept for lot 67 I wanted it to be an environment most people would find sophisticated yet comfortable. I love mixing patterns, monochromatic colour schemes and using colour to add a little surprise here and there. My favorite room in lot 67 has to be the “kid’s room” with it’s muted yellows and exciting patterns. However; the master bedroom has some charms; the size of the window is incredible. I can imagine the statement this room would make with beautiful drapery hugging the edge of the window (sorry no shot of the window, you’ll have to go see for yourself).
The walk in closet is any woman’s fantasy sanctuary; picture the Ikea commercials on TV and you know exactly what I’m thinking. The master Ensuite is large with a separate glass shower with a large 2 sink vanity; plenty of space to share. The lighting and plumbing fixtures where selected by Tara Sjoberg with B.A. Robinson Co. Penticton. This home has a wonderful flow to it which is deceiving from the outside. The moment you step inside you feel how spacious it is, even the office which is the first room you see when entering can accommodate large office furniture and also has a large window which faces out to the xeriscaping front yard. Penticton gets hot especially this area where Sendero Canyon is situated so you can understand the need for no to low landscaping. So if you’re attracted to hot climate and lots of sunshine I would suggest you come visit Penticton and while you’re in town stop by and have a look at the show home; good things are happening in Penticton.
Now for some random pictures.
